Beyond Midnight

Passing beyond midnight
opens up a different world;
while silence dominates the dark,
chaos starts to conquer the mind
through flooded thoughts
sudden realizations
epiphanies
and conclusions —
reflections
which can’t be reached
even in sobriety
in the light of the day
