A Present

I still remember how I was surprised
to meet you on a Christmas night
How can I describe? —

A kaleidoscope to my eyes;
A music on my early rise;
A sensation which ever excites
this idle heart of mine

I have this chance to know you
and I hope I’ll deeply do
Should you either feel glad or blue
I’m just a call away, that’s true

As we turn another chapter tonight
I only wish to see the light —
to certainly see myself
at the next pages of your daily life

Because if I promise to stay
I will always find a way;
If that will be to your liking,
I am so more than willing

With that, I am looking forward
to what fate can bring us around!
